Going from full-time working moms for one of the largest Social Networking sites on the planet, to full-time at home moms, founders Colleen Powers and Sheetal Patel decided to branch out into their own internet endeavor with their daughters in mind. Finding that Los Angeles has a plethora of kid-friendly activities to attend and choices for products and retailers at a magnitude greater than the imagination can fathom, they have set out to provide families with the most comprehensive information at their fingertips.
What better way to focus all of this information than with the Earth in mind and by showing that being Green doesn’t have to break the bank. What Lulubel shares is environmentally friendly ideas that can be incorporated into the fun of everyday life with our children. By incorporating even small changes that can lay a foundation of respecting life, nature, and the world around us for our children, we are making everlasting positive contributions to this vast universe. Trust us, with just a little effort, you too can be eco-friendly! Teaching and including children to reuse, recycle, and reconsider natural resources can be fun and rewarding. Local events and activities are a great way to support your local communities and save on your carbon footprint.
Where does the name Lulubel come from? Lulubel was the nickname Colleen was given by her father as a child that was playful and compassionate, two principles our journey with Lulubel is founded on.
